Draft timeline for the new PCL funding round

Background: with the May 21, 2013  PCL renewal passage, the new funding round will begin next year (new monies flow beginning July 1, 2014, as this is the last year of the current five-year Levy which goes through June 30, 2014.)

--From now through September, staff plans to gather community input, analyze it and report back to the Allocation Committee in October.

--Staff will then create funding recommendations and finalize the funding application, with Requests For Investment going out in January 2014.

--RFIs will be reviewed through mid-May and awards made from mid-May to mid-June. New funding would start July 1, 2014.

More information will be sent to the PCL database, publicized on the PCL website and to the community at large; also, community outreach and meetings will help to disseminate the information.
