The Community Childcare Initiative

The CCI was funded in 2007 with a $2.7 million PCL invesment to strengthen the quality of childcare in childcare centers and the affordability of quality childcare for low-income families.

As of June 30, 2011 the CCI provided Affordability Services for 632 children and had involved 24 family childcare providers and 21 childcare centers. Twenty-eight centers participated in Quality Services.
