Join us for the next Portland Children's Levy Allocation Committee Meeting.

Meeting Agenda

1. Revenue Projections

Staff will present information on updated revenue projections from the City economist and impact. Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (10 min).

2. Small Grants Fund Results and Process Feedback

Staff will present findings from surveys of applicants and grant reviewers who participated in the Small Grants Funding Process and provide implications for future Small Grants funding processes. Action: Committee questions, discussion,
public comment. (20 min)

3. Process Improvement Report, 2019-20 Grantmaking

Staff will present findings from surveys of applicants and grant reviewers who participated in FY19-20 grantmaking process. Staff will use these findings, coupled with findings from the Small Grants Fund feedback, to provide implications for future PCL grantmaking processes. Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (10 min)

4. 2019-20 Performance Report including COVID-19 Impacts

PCL grantees report annually on the demographics of people served, service level, participation, program outcomes and staff turnover. PCL staff aggregate this data across all Levy programs, and by program area. Staff will review FY19-20 results and themed narrative data describing impacts of COVID-19 on programming. Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (20 min)

5. 2020-21 Mid-Year Progress Report including COVID-19 Impacts

PCL grantees report at the midyear on program implementation progress. PCL staff aggregate and theme their narrative data. Staff will review 2020-21 mid-year progress in light of COVID-19 impacts on programs. Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (10 min)

After you join the meeting, you may provide comment by using the “raise your hand” feature on Zoom.  The chair will call for public comment on non-agenda items at the beginning of the meeting, and after information and discussion on each agenda item.  You may speak for up to 3 minutes when called on to provide your comments.
